Resources2012 Results Under gray skies and a pre start downpour that carried on for the first 5 miles 450 runners towed the starting line for the 24th HAT Run. Light showers continued on and off for the day. Trails that were perfect under near 80 degrees temps on Friday were slick and treacherous on Saturday. However that did deter first time HAT runner and first time ultra runner from nearly breaking four hours. Caleb Masland in his first race over the a marathon (which his current PR is 2:35) from leading the race from start to finish. His early lead of 20 minutes was slowly whittled down by a number of veterans but by not enough. Congratulations to the 391 finishers - under somewhat miserable conditions - but a great day to run!In the womens race Kristin van Eron lead the womens field from the start as well. Second place finisher Jacqueline Palmer closed down a 5 minute gap and came within 36 seconds of Kristin. Megan McNew rounded out the top three women- all were under 5 hours. 2012 Age Group Results with splits 2011 Results | 2011 Age Group Results | 2011 Photos The 2010 Results ---- 2010 Photos Andy O'Brien's 2010 race account | Steve Speirs' 2010 race account | Matt Frazier's video account | The HAT Run Theme song written and performed by local artist and HAT runner Danny McDonnell.
